Very strange story
In 1908, a boy named Bobby Dunbar was born in Louisiana. And in 1912, during a boat trip, a four-year-old boy disappeared. The lake was searched far and wide - there was no child in the water. Then they made a long search, which lasted 8 months. Attracted by the authorities, attracted the press, in a toga was arrested some wandering tuner of pianos and a piano that traveled with the boy. The boy fit the description and looked like a missing person. The Adjuster could not really explain whose boy it was, told something about the son of some employee, but the information was not confirmed.
And then the most interesting.
The boy was brought to the Dunbar family for identification, and he immediately recognized the mother and rushed to hug her with shouts. Everyone is crying, everyone is happy - he is found. There were some nuances to which the press drew attention, but they were considered not to be significant. For example, Bobby did not recognize his younger brother Alonzo. And my father somehow was not completely sure that this was their boy. It seems to be similar, but it seems not ...
The next day, when the child was washed, the father found some birthmarks and scars, which he was convinced of - this is Bobby, son. As a result, a quick trial, the tuner was recognized in the abduction of the child. It seems to be a happy ending?
Not really.Years have passed. Bobby grew up, got married, became the father of four children and died quietly in 1966. But one of his granddaughters, Margaret, knowing the family history and a lot of strange circumstances, decided to conduct her own investigation. As in the cinema she raised old newspapers, case materials, new riddles were discovered and there were even more questions.
As a result, in 2004 they did what put everything in its place. We conducted an examination of the DNA of the son of Bobby and his cousin, the son of Alonzo. Nothing in common.
In this way, the Dunbar family raised a completely outside boy. Their child most likely drowned and was eaten by crocodiles, of which there are many in Louisiana.
