2017 was not an easy year. Although, probably, this can be said about each past year, because for everyone what is happening during this time is of a completely different color. But judging objectively, we can say that this year the world has actually lost a lot of talented actors, musicians and other celebrities. Some of the deaths were expected, as the dead stars were of old age or had incurable diseases, but the departure of some celebrities was a shocking surprise. Today we want to remember those stars that we lost in 2017.

British actor, star of Harry Potter films, died at 77 years of age from pancreatic cancer.

Yevgeny Yevtushenko

July 18, 1932 - April 1, 2017

After removing the kidney, 6 years ago the poet had a relapse of cancer. Yevtushenko died in the United States, where he lived and taught since 1991.

Robert Miles

47-year-old DJ Robert Miles died of cancer, which was diagnosed 9 months before his death.

Dmitry Hvorostovsky

In the summer of 2015, the opera singer reported that he had cancer of the brain. Hvorostovsky underwent treatment in London and at the end of September reappeared on the scene. A year before his death, the artist underwent a course of chemotherapy, and six months before his death, Khvorostovsky spoke in St. Petersburg on the City Day. The artist died in London and was posthumously nominated for a Grammy.

Leonid Bronevoy
