What are protein diets

Choosing for yourself the best version of the diet, you should know that among them there are those that can lead to serious consequences, in the form of metabolic disorders and other unpleasant moments.

This applies mainly to monodiets, whose goal is to completely eliminate carbohydrates and fats. It should also be noted that protein diets are long-term (Dukan's diet), short-term (Atkins diet, protein mono-diet for 10 days, etc.).

Therefore, it is necessary to choose wisely and, perhaps, the best short-term protein diet will be protein-carbohydrate alternation (BUCH).

What is BUCH?

Protein-carbohydrate alternation - a diet based on a specific system of protein intake and complex carbohydrates that need to be eaten daily. Usually, slimming ladies use the scheme (1 mixed + 2 protein + 1 carbohydrate + 2 protein + 1 carbohydrate), building a system of weight loss for as many days as they see fit, although you shouldn’t get carried away either.

It is enough for the first time to sit on the alternation week, and then fix the result.

The diet is good because it does not exclude carbohydrates, like most of these nutritional systems, because in the absence of carbohydrates, muscle mass is lost, mood swings occur. But we need to lose fat and keep a good mood and mood for further struggle. In addition, the BUCH allows you to save the effect for a long time.

Protein-carbohydrate diet works on the principle of alternating protein and carbohydrate days, helping the body to use fat reserves, and at the same time preventing it from drawing energy from muscle tissue.

This means that in the first protein days, without carbohydrates, your body will consume body fat as a “fuel”, and then you replenish the supply of carbohydrates in the body. And in a day you will start over.

All these manipulations lead to the main goal of the diet - the consumption of carbohydrates, from which excess fat and fat deposits appear. In this case, the lack of carbohydrates will burn fat.

  • Breakfast: porridge, a cup of low-fat yogurt;

Despite the fact that the menu is rather scanty, such a diet makes it easier to have carbohydrate days on which you can eat high-calorie meals.

Alternating days in such a sequence, very soon you will be able to achieve a good result.

Advantages and disadvantages of the protein-carbohydrate diet

Of course, the main advantage of BUCH is a confident weight loss, while the food here is quite balanced and does not harm our body. Also, the protein-carbohydrate diet does not provide for counting calories and weighing portions. According to the example, the dishes are simple, it is easy to make an individual menu.

This method of losing weight helps to get rid of fat, not limited to the removal of excess fluid.

There are no hungry days in the diet, note that the portion size is not indicated, which means that you can eat as much as you need. Such a slimming is especially suitable for athletes who want to "dry" and get a beautiful, embossed press.

But, as in any other diet, there are some drawbacks. First, nutritionists do not recommend sticking to a diet for more than three months, which means that LACs are not effective enough for peopleobese.

In addition, excessive consumption of protein also hurts, if it does not play sports. Bear in mind that some of this amount of protein may have nausea or bad breath.

Otherwise, losing weight by this method leaves only positive feedback and, if you have no contraindications, you can see for yourself how effective the diet is.
