Formula of creativity
Photographer Edas Wong () lives in Hong Kong, he is 48 years old, takes pictures mostly on the street. At first he was focused on landscape photography. But since 2011, under the impression of the works of Henri Cartier-Bresson fell in love with street photography.
Wong admits that in most cases an interesting shot is made thanks to luck, but only one percent of all the pictures turn out to be worthwhile. Therefore, luck is directly related to the amount of time spent shooting.
Edas Wong is sure that for a good photo, you need to free your mind. He even derived a formula for creativity:
“Creativity = 1 / mind,” says the photographer. - When the mind is empty, creativity is equal to infinity. Our imagination is limited by our knowledge, experience, common sense, culture, morality, etc. In order to “make” creative photographs, all this burden must be discarded and in our own way look at the world. ”
