Airplanes do not fly there ... at least cheap ...
Aeroflot stopped selling subsidized tickets in Magadan.
The airline stopped the sale due to the use of funds allocated from the federal budget.
Aeroflot informed its ticket agents about the termination of the sale of subsidized tickets in connection with the use of funds that were allocated from the federal budget for these purposes. This was told by the Kolyma governor at a briefing, reports MagadanMedia news agency.
Recall, from March 29, 2018, the sale of air tickets on subsidized fares for flights of Aeroflot and Russia airlines was launched along Magadan-Moscow and Moscow-Magadan routes. Today the company announced the termination of the implementation of subsidized tickets.
“I sent a telegram to Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev, Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov and head of the Federal Aviation Transport Agency Alexander Neradko to clarify this situation.Taking into account the fact that the Ministry of Transport has combined all the subsidies for different types of benefits into one resolution and combined all the funds into one pot, measures should be taken to distribute air transportation subsidies from other types. This applies not only to the Magadan Region regions on Aeroflot flights.
In addition, I will be in Moscow tomorrow, I will meet with the leadership of the Ministry of the East for the development of the problem and restore the sale of subsidized tickets for the next period.
I think the situation will find its resolution. All regions of the FEFD identified this problem even before the start of sales of subsidized tickets. Today, the government requires a decision on the allocation of funds and the redistribution of funds, which is provided for in the federal budget.
In other areas, the sale of subsidized tickets will continue - to Novosibirsk, Simferopol and our regional transportation, "- said the governor of the Magadan region, Vladimir Pecheny.
