5 worst tourists in the world
1. The teenager scribbled his name in the ancient Egyptian temple
In May of this year, a Chinese teenager named Ding Jinghao visited an ancient Egyptian temple. Apparently, the 3,000-year-old murals turned out to be too boring for him, so he quickly decided to “improve” them - he had the sense to scribble his name on the wall.
Recall: this is a 3,000-year-old temple! This is a work of art that has remained unchanged and remained as complete as possible for three thousand years in spite of wars, conquests and merciless times. And all this in order to spoil it some 15-year-old rogue. Perhaps this would not have happened if the parents knew their son a little better and left him at the hotel. Moral of the story: for the sake of humanity, bring up your children after all!
2. A tourist found a very rare six-legged octopus and ate it.
American tourist Labros Gidras while scuba diving in Greece came across a six-legged octopus. Hydras immediately realized that he did not encounter such an octopus every day (in fact, this is only the second six-legged octopus ever found), so he decided to eat it.
And already after the octopus got into his stomach, the tourist confirmed - yes, he really will defecate for the next few hours with the remains of an extremely rare animal. He cooked it himself, because local cooks refused to do it. Hydras says that he feels bad now, and the saddest thing, in his opinion, is that this biological rarity does not differ in taste from a regular octopus.
3. Tourists take pictures with a dying dolphin
But the case that once again confirms that the human race clearly needs to be cleaned. A group of tourists swimming on the beach in the Chinese region of Hainan discovered a wounded dolphin swimming near the shore. The animal probably suffered as a result of a collision with a boat. Of course, having found the dolphin, the swimmers immediately contacted the organization of helping homeless animals, and while the rescuers rode, they could help themselves, and Michael Jackson's song “Help Willie” flowed from heaven.
Oh well. Of course, it should be so. But we live in a much more cruel reality.
Yes, instead of helping a poor animal, these people pulled a dolphin out of the water, like a sack of potatoes, and twisted,as they wanted, in front of the camera lens, while the vital forces left the body of the animal. After several shots intended to impress friends on Facebook, the dolphin could not stand it and died - could not bear the injuries that fell on him, assault and, apparently, disgrace from being seen in public in a company with these idiots.
4. A man broke a 600-year-old statue in an attempt to measure it.
While visiting the Opera del Duomo in Florence, a tourist from Missouri, whose name is not reported, accidentally broke off his little finger at a 14-century-old statue. The man was quite logical rationale for his act: he tried to measure it.
For what he did it, it is not known - maybe he wanted to make a copy of the statue at home, but we will never know. It is noteworthy that, although the age of the statue is 600 years old, the little finger is much younger. This means that it was attached to the statue in the Victorian era - apparently, someone has already tried to measure the statue before.
5. Hitchhikers painted graffiti from the world famous Moher Cliffs in Ireland
Cliffs of Moher for several centuries are considered one of the most amazing sights of Ireland. These rocks are evidence that people are born and die, but the greatness of nature remains unchanged.
An impressive view, isn't it?
Well, two French hitchhikers thought that the cliffs would look much better if they looked like a garage door, so they covered the rock with an area of 2.5 m² graffiti. A couple of vandals who call themselves “Mom” and “Dirty Edior” even uploaded a video (subsequently deleted) to YouTube - apparently, as a guide, how to spoil the rocks. Take a close look at the photo above: perhaps a nature monument in a couple of years will look like a giant skate park.
